In Black Lagoon, Matsuzaki Ginji is a legend among the Washimine clan of yakuza. Known as "Manslayer Ginji," his skill with the sword knows no equal. His primary weapon is a shirasaya blade which he uses to incredibly lethal effect, and such is his skill with the sword that he can even slice bullets in half in mid-flight. When Washimine Yukio finds herself caught in the middle of a power struggle between her syndicate and Hotel Moscow, it is Ginji who becomes her sworn protector.
