In Doom Eternal, the Marauder is a former member of the Night Sentinels of Argenta, and part of the faction of Argenta that continues to serve the Khan Maykr despite the revelation of the truth about Argent Energy, and about the Maykrs' complicity in the suffering of their people. Transformed into a demon by the Dark Lord of Hell, the Marauder was infused with the same power that the Doom Slayer himself was infused with, and carries an axe and a shield created with Argent Energy.
