Gekijōban Mahō Shōjo Madoka Magika [Shinpen]: Hangyaku no Monogatari (known as Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion in the west) is a movie released in 2013 within the Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica franchise. It is the first proper continuation of the story after the 2011 TV series, and the third movie overall.
It follows the Holy Quintet, now joined by the witch Charlotte, as they deal with the appearance of new monsters known as Nightmares, whilst gradually coming to the realisation that the world they're in is not quite what it seems.
