Wrath-filled and muscular guardian deities of the Buddhism. Often found as a pair of giant statues, striking ”a-un” pose, at Buddhist temples. They're also called "(statues of) Niou/Ni-ou (仁王[像])". On danbooru, their shawl-like cloth are tagged as hagoromo for convenience.
