A small structure where vendors sell inexpensive goods such as newspapers, magazines, or snacks. Kiosks usually enclose only enough floor space for one or two clerks, who sell items to customers through a window. They may be sited outdoors, especially in urban areas, or inside public spaces like shopping malls and airports.
