A giant mecha from the Ultra Series first appearing as alien robot in Ultraseven with numerous appearances in later shows, most notably in Ultraman Z.
It is capable of separating its body into four parts—essentially the head and arms, chest, abdomen, and lower body—with each section able to operate as an independent spacecraft.
Named after Kinjou Tetsuo, one of the first writers of Ultraman.
King Joe also appears in the Kadokawa version of Ultra Kaijuu Gijinka Keikaku, with regular King Joe designed by Tani Yuuji, and King Joe II designed by Mamecchi.
