Originally a student at Sasebo, she was inducted into the 502nd Joint Fighter Wing as a Sergeant as replacement for her sister Karibuchi Takami. She has a skill called Contact Eye which allows her to see a Neuroi's core by touching it.
Her weapons are a Type 99-2 cannon Model 2 Kai, a Solothurn S-18/100 anti-tank cannon, and a FP-45 "Liberator" pistol. Her familiar is a Fuso squirrel, and she's based on Oshibuchi Hikari, younger sister of Oshibuchi Takashi.
