An experimental prototype for the Federation's next generation mass produced MS to replace the outdated GM III. The Jeddah's specifications were considered adequate, with even Amuro Ray giving his seal of approval for the design to be passed onwards, and as such it was further refined and simplified into the venerable Jegan.
