Izu-tan is the official Virtual YouTuber of the Etotama franchise. In the original Etotama anime, it is implied that there are many animal spirits, but only the 12 Japanese Zodiac and Cat Spirits are featured in the show - Izu-tan is the ferret spirit. She debuted on YouTube on December 27th, 2020, and later appeared in other Etotama media. She does typical VTuber streams and videos on her channel, whether gameplay and music videos, as well as post videos related to Etotama.
Her original outfit was a one piece dress with light blue ribbons on the shoulder and paw shaped buttons at the center. On May 4th 2022, coinciding with her renewal, she updated her outfit to a tartan mini-skirt and a white sweatshirt.
