The 4th President of Nintendo, as well as the CEO of Nintendo of America. Both the Nintendo DS and Wii were developed under his direction. Also known as a programmer at HAL Laboratory, he took part in the development of Balloon Fight, Mother 2 and assisted in the programming of many other Nintendo games.
Died from complications from a bile duct growth at the age of 55.
