Good Burger is a 1997 teen comedy movie starring Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell. The movie is based on the "Good Burger" sketch from the Nickelodeon variety series All That.
The movie follows Dexter Reed(Kenan) a teenage slacker who is forced to get a summer job after crashing his teacher's car in order to pay for the damages. He later works at the Good Burger restaurant, where he befriends Ed(Kel), a dimwitted but well-meaning cashier. When the new rival Mondo Burger restaurant threatens to drive Good Burger out of business, Dexter and Ed work together to save their restaurant.
Despite mixed reviews, the movie was well liked by fans which the movie continues to have a cult following. A sequel, titled Good Burger 2 was released in 2023 on Paramount+ with Kenan and Kel reprising their roles.
