Genie is a 2009 k-pop song by Girls' Generation, and one of the group's most popular releases. The song is most well known for it's military-themed music video outfits, particularly the white naval-themed outfits.
The white outfit has since become one of the most recognizable and memorable in k-pop, often being worn by newer girl groups when doing cover performances of Genie. Notably, the outfit inspired the fanmade Generation Ahri design and eventual Popstar Ahri skin in League of Legends.
