The True Velocity RM338, formerly known as the Lightweight Medium Machine Gun (LWMMG), is an American prototype belt-fed general-purpose machine gun which was first developed by General Dynamics, then later by LoneStar Future Weapons, and now by True Velocity. It is designed to fill the gap between 7.62 mm and .50 BMG machine guns. The weapon uses the .338 Norma Magnum, giving it greater range compared to 7.62 NATO round.
