    エゲリア 厄歌莉娅

A character from Genshin Impact. Also known as the "Lord of Amrita" or the "Mistress of Many Waters", she was the original Hydro Archon and the predecessor of the latest Hydro Archon, Focalors.

Egeria was created by Naberius as the new "heart" for the Primordial Sea after the Hydro Dragon was removed. She allegedly created the Oceanids (including Focalors) after she shed the "first tear". After fulfilling the Oceanids' desire to live on the surface by giving them humanoid bodies, Egeria was imprisoned by Celestia for stealing power from the Primordial Sea without permission. This would set the prophecy of Fontaine in motion.

After the fall of Remuria and the death of it's God King, Remus, Egeria was released from her prison, and was granted a gnosis, becoming the Hydro Archon. She returned to Fontaine and united the remaining survivors and various tribes, helping them establish new cities. Egeria also established laws, commencing a new era guided by law that lasts to this day. Egeria died around 500 years ago during the Cataclysm in battle at Tunigi Hollow and her body turned into the water of the Amrita. Rukkhadevata grew the Harvisptokhm from the Amrita to anchor Egeria's consciousness to the mortal realm.
