Avenger-class Servant seen in Fate/Grand Order. Notable for being the first Avenger introduced in the game.
Edmond Dantes is the protagonist of Alexandre Dumas' The Count of Monte Cristo. Good-natured and innocent in the beginning, he is framed as a supporter of the exiled Napoleon Bonaparte and imprisoned. In prison he befriends another political prisoner, a priest named Faria, who educates him. Dantes later escapes, and hardened by his experiences, he goes on to create a new identity for himself as the Count of Monte Cristo, and uses his new position to exact revenge on all those who wronged him in the past. He is also known as The King of the Cavern in the Japanese version as a reference to the Japanese title of the novel.
In Fate/Grand Order he does not consider himself as Dantes at all, rather as the vengeful King of the Cavern.
