A boss in Terraria, a giant worm that tunnels through the Corruption and is made up of many segments. It spawns once for every third Shadow Orb broken in the world.
In Hardmode, a robotic version of it known as the Destroyer appears and unlike the Eater of Worlds is nocturnal and can adapt to non-Corruption terrain.
