As revealed in Chapter 28, she is actually the original Kiana Kaslana, daughter of Cecilia Schariac and Siegfried Kaslana. She was thought to have died during a failed attempt by Siegfried and K-423 to rescue her from captivity under Otto Apocalypse, but she survived to be recaptured and have her memory altered to forget her true identity. The treatment that saved her life also changed her hair color.
