The heroic anime super robot consists of the largest number of separate mechas (Rugger 1 ~ Rugger 15). (Some evil or parody combined robots from other anime series have many more constitutive units).
Like so many other 70s~80s super robots, it was designed by industrial designer Murakami Katsushi.
In Voltron, it also became known as Voltron, but is commonly referred to as Vehicle Voltron by fans. It has made much fewer return appearances compared to Lion Voltron.
