Use when the pupil is noticeably smaller than usual relative to the iris or when the iris is omitted to emphasize the smallness of the pupil, sometimes extremely small (almost dot-like). Can variously be elements of the eyes of a character in extreme fear, reacting to some shock or simply undergoing an autonomous reflex from exposure to bright light.
