As a seaplane tender, she uses twoaircraft catapults and 12.7 cm twin anti-aircraft gun mounts, plus Type A Kou-hyouteki midget submarines at "A" form. As a light carrier, she goes for a flight deck theatre, with her identifier (Chito) marked on it. She controls her planes with puppet strings.
She is depicted as being a siscon towards her elder sister, Chitose. She's fond of roasted sweet potatoes. She seems to have a one sided friendly rivalry with the Admiral for her elder sister's affections, though she secretly harbors warm feelings toward the Admiral herself.
