In Black Lagoon, Chaka is an enforcer for the Washimine Group. He fancies himself a real "cowboy" and is fluent in English. Arrogant, cruel and sadistic, he is often seen as an idiot by his Yakuza peers. When Washimine Yukio becomes the boss of the group, he tries to take control of the leadership by kidnapping her with the help of a street gang, and ends up bringing down the wrath of both Revy and Yukio's protector Matsuzaki Ginji upon his head.
