A Kemono Friends character. One of many "Friends" in Japari Park. The Thoroughbred Trio were created for a promotion involving the Anime and the Japan Racing Association. They have since integrated with the wider franchise and the JRA moved on with a different franchise.
The Domestic Horse (Equus ferus caballus) is a one-toed hoofed animal often used as a best of burden. With time, they were eventually bred for many uses. The Thoroughbred breed is a hotblooded breed made from a mix of Arabian, Barb and Turk horses, bred specifically for speed and racing. They are the breed used in flat racing.
A "bay" horse denotes a horse with a brown coat with leg points (darker fur on the legs). A "brown" horse denotes a bay horse with a near-black coat, containing some lighter brown hairs. Not to be confused with a black horse (uniformly black aside from any potential white markings) or a dark bay horse (a darker brown with leg points but no black hair).
Brown Thoroughbred is (naturally) a horse girl with long black hair resembling a mane, wearing a black sports ensemble.
