The ninth instalment of the Asphalt series developed by Gameloft released in 2018 originally called Asphalt 9: Legends. Like its predecessors, it as an arcade racing game featuring licensed cars racing throughout various locations around the world. The game introduced several features including the return of police chases, TouchDrive (a semi-autonomous control scheme where acceleration and handling are automatic), and an updated nitro system.
In 2023, it received a massive overhaul, introducing crossplay and graphical upgrades, and was rebranded as Asphalt Legends Unite.
In 2025, the name was simplified to Asphalt Legends.
