Five years have passed since the Super Peace Busters, a group of six friends, dissolved following the tragic death of one of their own, Honma Meiko. Now a reclusive teen, the group's de facto leader Yadomi Jinta gets a visit from Meiko's ghost, urging him to reassemble the gang to help her fulfill a wish so she may pass onto the afterlife. Slowly, they bring back the rest of the group: Anjou Naruko, who remained in touch with Jinta as a classmate, Matsuyuki Atsumu, a handsome top-scorer and his schoolmate Tsurumi Chiriko, and Hisakawa Tetsudou, a wanderer who takes part-time jobs to fund his travels.
