ル・マン24時間レース ル・マン24時間耐久レース 24_Heures_du_Mans
An annual 24-hour long endurance car race, organised at Circuit de La Sarthe near Le Mans, France. First held in 1923 it is considered as one of most prestigious car races in the world, unofficially described as a crown jewel event in so called Triple Crown of Motorsport, alongside Monaco Grand Prix and Indianapolis 500.
Nowadays the race is ran as main part of FIA World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series, with entrants from not only WEC and ELMS, but also IMSA Sportscar Championship and Le Mans-only participants in Le Mans Prototypes and GT sports cars.
