KPop Demon Hunters is a 2025 3D animated action musical movie created by Sony Pictures Animation and released on Netflix on June 20, 2025. It is currently the most watched title in the platform's history.
The movie follows the K-Pop girl group Huntrix (stylized HUNTR/X), composed of Rumi, Mira and Zoey, who are secretly the latest trio in a line of demon hunting songstresses. For generations, they have protected the human world from demons sent by the Demon King Gwi-Ma by fighting them and using their singing to empower the Honmoon, a barrier between the two worlds. However, Huntrix faces their most difficult challenge when a new boy band called the Saja Boys, who are actually demons in disguise, attempt to take over Huntrix's popularity and steal their fans’ souls to break the Honmoon.
