A 2012 anime by Encourage Films and Satelight. The second season aired in summer 2013, the third in summer 2015, the fourth in summer 2017, and a fifth in summer 2019. The fourth and fifth seasons were announced to have been greenlit during the Symphogear Live 2016 event held on February 27-28.
The titular Symphogears are miracle powersuits powered by singing and used to fight an alien other-dimensional enemy called Noise. The series is known for its popular character songs, over the top action packed seasons and yuri subtext.
