A manga series by namori, serialized in Comic YuriHime since 2008, and adapted into an anime in the Summer of 2011. A second anime season was released in the summer of 2012. An OVA titled YuruYuri Nachuyachumi! was released in 2014. During a event related to OVA's release a 3rd season was announced to be come in production early 2015. The third season, called "YuruYuri San Hai!", aired in October 2015.
YuruYuri follows the everyday life of schoolgirls at a fictitious junior high school. The year before the series starts, Toshinou Kyouko and Funami Yui take over the former room of the school's Tea Ceremony Club to form the Amusement Club. When Kyouko and Yui's friend Akaza Akari enters their school, she immediately becomes part of the club. One of Akari's classmates Yoshikawa Chinatsu also ends up joining the club. Members of the student council often visit the club.
