Character who appears in Under Night In-Birth. She is a senior middle school student who is childhood friends with Nanase, although they have grown apart as of late. Phonon has an interest in supernatural phenomena and has several chuunibyou tendencies which is partly how she became an In-Birth. Her real name is Yoshiko (良子). She was originally based on the scrapped character idea, Chemeti.
