Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator is the 25th mainline game in the Atelier series, developed by Akatsuki Games and published by Koei Tecmo. The story is penned by novelist Takahiro, with character designs by Umiu Geso, tokki, and NOCO. Unlike previous mainline entries in the series, it is a free-to-play game with monetization centered around a gacha system.
It follows the story of the two titular protagonists: Resna Sternenlicht, a novice alchemist who hopes to revive the concept of alchemy, and Valeria, an adventurer who's lost most of her memories up to three years before the events of the game.
The game was released in Japan on September 23, 2023 for mobile devices, and on January 10, 2024 for PC through Steam. The global version was released worldwide on January 25, 2024 for both mobile devices and PC. The global version was shut down on March 28, 2025.
The game heavily features characters from the wider Atelier series mysteriously transported into the world, known collectively as "wanderers".
