The second remodel of Kantai Collection's Ryuuhou, released on April 22, 2020. Comes in standard CVL Kai Ni and an alternate Kai Ni (E) specializing in ASW/night ops. Unusually, she gets the Kai Ni E remodel before Kai Ni and not after.
Her kai ni outfit keeps the green/pink skirt but the green/pink sailor collar is integrated to a tabard-like garment. She keeps the red necktie and the muneate but the yugake is replaced by blackfingerless gloves on both hands, while the magatama becomes an earring. Her single knee pad is now a full-on greave and her pantyhose is open at three toes each foot. Her headband is changed to one akin to the Japan Post emblem: a hinomaru flanked by a single red stripe.
Kai Ni reverts her to her pink color scheme, but Kai Ni E portrays her in her real-life green camouflage.
In both cases, her second remodels correct the historical deficiencies of the original Ryuuhou (as reflected in her kai form) by boasting double the plane capacity and slightly better armor values. However, she requires a prototype catapult for the first second remodel (Kai to Kai Ni E) as she never historically received further upgrades after mid-1944.
