She is the leader of the original Iris Orthodoxy faction and later the Iris Libre faction that is based off the Free French. She is referred to as the "Cardinal" as a reference to her namesake, Cardinal Jean-Armand du Plessis, Duke of Richelieu. Consequently, she ends up with a very Christian personality.
Her rigging consists of her two historical 380 mm quad main gun mounts on white protective coverings, two 152 mm triple mounts on the sides of the main gun rigs, and a central section holding the two sides together that contains her bridge and radars.
