A type of aircraft throughout the Pikmin series that serves as transportation, housing, and reproduction for the Pikmin.
While the appearance of the onions has some minor variation between games, it keeps the general look of an onion bulb of at least one color, typically of the Pikmin type associated with it. It also has a white flower that acts as its propeller, and three thin yellow legs that are used by the Pikmin for entering or exiting the onion.
