The FN FNP is a series of polymer-framed handguns manufactured by FN USA from 2006 to 2011. Available in 9×19mm Parabellum, .40 S&W and .45 ACP. Visually recognizable by the presence of a sloped curve on the slide's left side, diagonal slide serrations, ring-shaped hammer, and grain-like pattern on the grip.
This also apply to FN FNX series, the improved successor with fully ambidextrous controls (external safety, magazine release button, and slide lock), currently in production from 2009.
