A villain from the Naruto Shippuuden manga and anime series. Member of the Akatsuki group of criminals. On the first official character poll where he appeared, he came sixth.
He first appeared inside his Hiruko puppet, only for Grandmother Chiyo and Sakura to realize that it's not his real body later in the series. The real body is revealed to be a young male redhead who would later gain a new puppet in the form of The Third Kazekage. However, Sasori opens his cloak and reveals himself to be a puppet on his own, with metal wings a la the Eagle Undead of Kamen Rider Blade.
