    ロックマンエグゼ ロックマンEXE

Mega Man Battle Network (known in Japan as Rockman EXE) is a spin off series of Mega Man set in the year 200x. The series spans six games across the Game Boy Advance (with certain entries also appearing on the Nintendo DS).

Players control Lan Hikari outside of the game's net world. When it's time to jack into the net, Lan can do so by using his NetNavi MegaMan.EXE contained in a device called the PET (Personal Terminal). In the net world, players control MegaMan.EXE, protecting the web from viruses and villains ranging from the classic Wily to hellbent criminal organizations such as Gospel, along with new faces such as Dr. Regal. As MegaMan.EXE fights enemies, he can acquire their Battle Chips, each possessing a different effect related to the defeated enemy, from powerful attacks to supporting effects such as healing or turning invisible.

After the series' sixth and final game, the Mega Man metaseries developed yet another spin off game in the form of Mega Man Star Force.
