In the original, the title of the book is Hieda no Kyuu ("Hieda no Salvation") and the chapters are titled Hieda no Meikyuu, Hieda no Kyuugo and Hieda no Kyuusei, all compound words with the same kanji 救. The final box on this page says that "Akyuu started to hate the character 救".
