I personally thought she was saying it about her, Marisa and Alice myself, which may be why it's in heart-warming.

I have always though that Reimu leads a very sad life, forced to fix other people's problems, and those people that fight will most likely hold it against her, no family around, etc, no wonder she is depicted as grumpy more often than not

just that one line from Reimu really make my eyes teary...
