Or Soul Charge from the SoulCalibur series, where the user spends a short time charging and then becomes more powerful for a few seconds.

The only skills that is really useful for me is Brave Blade and Tentarafoo in case of Yosuke. Would have been sweet if it was either of those.

Yeah wrong, very wrong. Sukukaja is what I like to call a game ending move. It basically gives youske Bangs Fu-Rin-Kah-Zan, changes his autocombo into one that can get better combos off. It makes an already fast and hard to read character even faster, quite a scary prospect really.
