The Japanese name of Nimbasa City, Raimon City, refers to this monumental gate, (Raimon, "thunder gate") in Asakusa, Tokyo. The statue on the left represents Thundurus, instead of Raijin, the thunder god whose statue can actually be seen there. Technically, it's called Kaminarimon. Raimon is a pun on the characters used in its name.
