I actually ended up with this on my first play through. I chose Gomamon as my starter and after getting a few other Digimon leveled up enough to fight I devolved Gomamon into Bukamon\Pukamon to see what other Digimon I could get and ended up evolving again into Gizamon. Looking at what Gizamon could evolve into I saw one with really high state requirements so I tossed Gizamon into the Digifarm almost as soon as I got access to it wondering what Digimon it could be and after awhile I ended up evolving and was surprised when I saw Gizamon evolve into Lanamon\Ranamon. Wasn't even expecting her to be in the game.

Comparing her to her Digimon Frontier appearance, I did realize they changed the white of her eyes red instead of just having large red purples like in the anime. But looking at the card games she is depicted like that too.
