Silly Sanae, the big transformation is from the wedding dress to the battle outfit. The wedding dress transformation is just for building up the power of love, before you do the proper oironaoshi transform.

Initially just split up the word "Transformation" across panels 1-3, but that didn't seem to flow very well visually, so I tried something not quite so literal. I think it works, but...

From what I've heard, Japanese weddings often take place in stages, with the bride changing clothes once or twice. At least, I think that's why the heroines of "Wedding Peach" have mid-battle transformations.

It's because Asian weddings are usually done in two stages; One in Traditional, one in Western-style. Korean wedding now days are also similar, but Western-style first, and Traditional-style close to the closing.

I think the translators have not noticed that the "white kimono" is called Shiromuku yet; this is the third time I made this small edit.

It's not a matter of not noticing; I simply chose to translate it rather than leave the term untranslated. The term hasn't made it into the English language as-is the way sushi, karate or karaoke have, so I'm fairly sure, most non-Japanese-speaking readers will not know it off-hand. One can still sort of guess what it means from context, but why not simply use an English translation?

Oh, and ChaosKnight, I appreciate your motive for the edit, but the "I am transformed" sentence was phrased like that for a reason .
