the other mare pictured above is oriental art, the mother of both dream journey and orfevre. she reportedly got along very very well with stay gold, as she was unable to mate with other stallions until she was introduced to stay gold. he fathered 7 out of her total 12 foals. bc of this, she was nicknamed the “rightful wife.” in addition, after stay gold passed in 2015, she followed him a month later, and a piece of his mane was placed in her grave.

as for the other kids featured in game, nakayama festa’s mother was named dear wink, and fenomeno’s was de laroche.

Edit: almost forgot to add that oriental art was also sired by McQueen, so orfevre and dream journey also have McQueen as their dam’s sire, like gold ship.
