I imagine he’d be a fire gym leader in Hoenn. He works at the onsen, with Flannery as a gym member and the next to replace him. Despite not as fiercely competitive as Galar the gym didn’t rise in rank bc Hoenn is a tough place for fire types 😂

Also, young Hoenn Kabu as a kindler. Unlike Galar Kabu, he has stronger arms than legs due to lifting those firewoods 💪💪🔥🔥
