    Mega Jenny

Well I give you my Weekly entry for :icon14-bis:'s Art Jam

This time I wanted to draw something funny and directly related to that little blue robot that most of us Like =D

Its a little simple (compared to my last drawing) but I hope you like it.

Before you tell me something stupid, I put the description in Spanish, since that is the original language of the Deviatart description and it also comes in English. I mention it to avoid a future sanction from the administration. That's why I leave my comment in English.

You’re not going to get in trouble for adding the commentary in its original language. In fact, that’s what you’re supposed to do.

Well, once I did the translation from English to Spanish, I did get a sanction from the administration and they even threatened to permanently ban me. The account was on a fanart post in Spanish where they weren't supposed to do anything to me, but the administration didn't care, they basically acted like the drug dealers from here in Mexico but for something that didn't make any sense and that was why I did that to avoid problems and even so someone came to dislike my comment just because and the dislike is not seen since I put a like so that the reactions of my first comment would be neutral and I have no doubt that with this comment the same thing will happen again

Well, considering that Danbooru is an English-language site, translations (including commentary) should be into English, unless there's a good reason to do otherwise (e.g. reverse translations); that's probably what got you in trouble the first time.

The worst part is that I have also received threats of permanent banning of my account from the website administrators because they say that if I continued insisting I would leave them with a bad reputation for what they were doing and the worst part is that they delete their comments so that there is no evidence of their bad practices and it is not the first time that it has happened and I have the screenshots of that saved on another computer that I use.

Are you talking about post #6674035? It’s true you shouldn’t translate English commentary to other languages, but it looks like you only did it that one time. I highly doubt they’d threaten to ban you just for that.

I’m probably going to regret asking, but how about posting some evidence of this supposed wrongdoing from the admins you’re claiming?

To be honest, I’m not even sure why we even have reverse translations in the first place. Sure, they can be funny sometimes, but I can’t think of any situation that would actually justify their use.

If I plan to share them via twitter, at that time I was unfairly banned just for saying things as they are, although on that occasion I admit that I should have followed the rules of only speaking in English. It seems ridiculous to me that this rule exists in many parts of the English-speaking community of only speaking in English when in the Spanish-speaking community or in the Asian community, but especially in the Spanish-speaking community, a rule of speaking only in Spanish has never been imposed and there are only very few cases where that happens in the Spanish-speaking community and those who tend to be the kings par excellence in terms of using the rule of only speaking in English are usually the United States, who in many cases believe that others have to speak the same language as them just because they say so, and thus believing that they are the center of the world instead of letting anyone speak in their native language. And I repeat, I know that the United States are not the only ones who do that. But in many cases they tend to be the ones who push this type of behavior the most for the simple fact of being lazy to not use a simple language translator that although I know that they are still not totally precise, they are much better than the ones that existed 15 or 20 years ago and that is something that no one can deny me.
