    こみトレ新刊サンプル

    9月4日こみっくトレジャー18の新刊『スペクトルのきもち』サンプルです。
    今回は巻頭カラー4ページ、さらに本文が黒と紫の2色刷りという本になってます。とにかく一度本文2色刷りの本を作ってみたくて、お話もそれに合わせてみました。ゆかれいむです。

    Hmm, this is a pretty amusing way to use Yukari's name. 紫 means purple, but normally it's read as murasaki, not yukari. It's read yukari when it's used in the expression "ゆかり(紫)の色" which was a figurative expression to mean "color of yearning (for loved one, etc)".

    So Yukari seems to be yearning for Reimu's attention and love, so reflected her true nature (color of yearning) by making Reimu unable to see any color other than ゆかりの色. Pretty nice.

    Well, at least that's fitting, even if Nakatani didn't intend this.

    p.s.) I've been seeing Yukari with that tied back hair, but was Yukari's hair style ever depicted like that in an official source? I really can't remember.
