I removed the tags that are misused. For example cat_ears (it's established actual cats do not need this tag), tentacle_hair (the hairs can easily be explained by inertia).
For some tags, I left them alone but they are in my opinion of very little value. e.g. lazy_eye, stone
Also removed from Tag Panic pool. 2 reasons: 1. Technically, after my trimming there are only 72 tags left, short of the 75 mark. 2. The pool is clearly intended for images for which it is absolutely necessary to add a large number of tags, typically images with numerous characters because it is important to tag characters and you can't just leave some of them out. As for this case, do we really need a tag that has only 4 images for it? And we could also tag the cat's fur pattern, the boob shape, the hair style, and so on. Same applies for most other seemingly simple images.
P.S. It's not my intention to come into conflict with any individual, as such I'll not reply to (if any) following comments, nor would I change any tags/pools for this image again.
This is a commentary on the state of tags, if a tag exists use it and let the people decide whether or not it is "necessary".
What is that thing on top of her parasol? A triangle! Why is there that sheen on Yukari's lips if not for emphasis? Lips they are, and a nose as well! Her entire hair situation is sure something special, it defies gravity! Is it alive? Who knows! Can it reach out and grab us? I hope not but that rightmost forelock is coming right at us!
Some would be content to tag a character/series 100 times and consider it a panic. But imagine for a second one considered all of the minutiae unique to each character would not each one be a panic unto itself? Please open your mind to the beautiful universe of tags in the future.
p.s. a fan writes "Inertia is distribution of mass not momentum"
"Posts that have more than 75 tags -- no less!! These pictures have so much in them that we go NUTS hunting down everything to tag as being in the picture."
I am sure that anyone with any sense of tagging pride will agree that pictures most suited for the Tag Panic pool are those with very few characters or intellectual properties. It is, in this tagger's opinion, that a COMPLETE tagging of a picture, that is tagging every last aspect, is the thing that a tagger must strive for when tagging a picture.
The Tag Panic pool was originally meant for this sort of pursuit. The trend we have seen where the pool is instead filled with pictures where the only tags are character names and IPs is extremely distressing to this tagger and it is outrageous that you would suggest that this practice is the correct method.
This tagger suggests that you consult your tagger's handbook and reevaluate what you are attempting to do with your tagging before trying to bring down others in the tagging community.
Tag PANIC! is for 75+ tags in a post and that's all, no other qualifications. If it's because there are a ridiculous number of characters depicted, it qualifies. If it's because the picture is extremely detailed and has lots of non-character stuff to tag, it qualifies too.
Cyberia-Mix said: I've removed more useless tags of this post (removed from the pool as well as a result).
If the tags are "useless" then whey are they supported on danbooru in the first place? Please don't impose your tagging bias on the hard work of others.
