My Favorite Book (2)
Monthly Magazine "Cavalry Spirit"
The oldest magazine in the world is said to have been founded around the twentieth century BC.
The first issue of the magazine was found among the collection of 22,000 clay tablets in the Royal Library discovered at Sennacherib's South-West Palace and Ashurbanipal's Palace during an investigation of Nineveh, in north Mesopotamia, by the Briton Sir Austen Henry Layard and his team during the summer of 1849. It is still possible to see the clay tablets written in Old Assyrian (in cuneiform) in room 9 on the first floor of the British Museum.
Unfortunately all that remains is the table of contents, but many back numbers written on papyrus scripts were kept in the Library of Alexandria and Gaius Plinius Secundus tells us in his letters of how they avoided frequent disasters and destruction.
However, with the fall of the Roman Empire around the fifth century AD the first issue was scattered and ultimately lost and the only mention of pre-1500's issues was in the book collection catalog of Federico da Montefeltro, Duke of Urbino.
In 2008, a fragment of the third issue was stumbled upon by the Bomb Disposal Team of the American Army during the disposal of an improvised explosive device near Baghdad. According to a specialist investigation it refers to the details of battles pre-dating the Battle of Kadesh and in recent years the issue has again gained interest in Archeological circles.

Colonel: "Cold again today soldier!"
Light cavalry girl: "It’s extremely cold today, Sir. May we put on our long-coats, Sir?"
Colonel: "HAHA, if you take the charm and sophistication of the Hussars away, what is left? Whether you live or die, wear your dolman and pelisse! "
Light cavalry girl: "This guy is useless... We have to do something..."

"The rumbling of muffled hooves, piercing the blurred border that rises like a ghost in the mist, the Prussian cavalry marching in unison in their black uniforms rush forward like demons, chopping up my unfortunate comrades. In a blink our line was destroyed."
