Apparently grape ice cream is pretty uncommon in the US, with Ben & Jerry's having tried it but found it's more difficult to make due to the high water content in grapes than other flavors. While manageable in small batches, apparently it becomes a hassle when scaling up for high volume production. Second, as it's already not a common flavor on the market, demand for it isn't high as most people would pick other more recognizable flavors.
