When I saw previous page, I figured Little Renown, or someone else, considering to call Eric Iddle to cheer her up singing "Always look on the bright side of life".
Is it just me or does Belfast seem uncharacteristically ruthless (completely unlike Lil'Bel)?
Belfast is the leader of what amounts to a commando unit but in maid uniform. She's tasked with not only supervising the day-to-day proceedings that handles all the small details for her leadership (Liz) but at the same time the Royal Maids provide the wider-range security around Liz (whose immediate protection is handled by Warspite and the other Royal Knights.)
That's a pretty big responsibility when you really consider it. And it becomes that much more difficult for Belfast to handle her day-to-day duties whenever Elizabeth decides to emotionally shut down and lock the entire world outside for days at a time.
So naturally she's more than capable of playing hardball. That you assumed otherwise is yet another asset in her repertoire.
And Little Bel is every bit as capable as her older sister in that regard.
